As our spring season gets underway, the Athletics Department is proud to recognize the exceptional efforts of five standout athletes who have made an immediate impact in their respective sports.
Allie Hamilton ’27 has brought intensity and energy to the 1st Girls’ Soccer Team. In just her Grade 10 year, she opened the scoring in two of the team’s first three matches and continues to be a key offensive contributor.
Charlie Larson ’25 has been a consistent and powerful presence on the 1st Boys’ Rugby Team. Known for his strong tackles and agile play, he’s helped lead the team to several early-season victories.
Somers Stevenson ’26 earned her spot as the only LCS athlete to qualify for OFSAA in badminton this year. Competing at the provincial level, she showcased her resilience and competitive drive—battling through a tough three-set match in the opening round and advancing to the quarterfinals with dominant performances.
Adrianna Salalila ’27 has shown impressive consistency on the 1st Golf Team, finishing second overall in both tournaments to date. Her calm focus and strong play have positioned her as a leader on the course.
Elise Devitt ’26 has quickly emerged as a key player on the 1st Ultimate Team. In her first season, she’s contributed significantly on both ends of the field and recently scored six points in a single game.
Among this outstanding group, one athlete stood out for her exceptional performance on a provincial stage.
Congratulations to Somers Stevenson ’26, our April Athlete of the Month. Her determination, skill, and composure at OFSAA represent the best of LCS athletics.
