April Athlete of the Month - Melody Huang ’26

April was another strong month for LCS Athletics, with student-athletes showing impressive growth, determination, and commitment across a variety of teams and sports. From standout individual performances to consistent contributions within their squads, each of our nominees helped strengthen their teams and contribute to a positive competitive spirit.

This month’s nominees are:
  • Danica ’27 — for her remarkable debut on the rugby pitch, scoring four tries in her very first match and making an immediate impact on the field.
  • Melody ’26 — for her outstanding dedication and consistent performance throughout the season, culminating in qualification for Badminton OFSAA.
  • Max ’26 — for his strong leadership on the 1st Ultimate team, as well as his key contributions through assists and playmaking.
  • Audrey ’26 — for her exceptional skill, awareness, and understanding of the game as a key member of the 1st Girls Soccer team.
  • Aniko ’28 — for her stamina, consistency, and strong game sense as a valuable contributor on the Junior Ultimate team.

After careful consideration, we are pleased to announce that the April Athlete of the Month is Melody Huang ’26!

Congratulations to all of our nominees for their outstanding contributions to LCS Athletics and for representing the spirit of teamwork, effort, and sportsmanship.
