The Bellagio at LCS

By Juliet Gardner '15

On Saturday, February 21, LCS hosted its annual Casino Night. The theme was “Opening Night at the Bellagio” and everyone came dressed in black tie attire.

160 people entered through the dining hall doors, through the velvet red rope and bodyguards. Jazz music played as people gambled the night away in Black Jack, craps, poker and even spoons.

The high roller tables were busy all night while students cashed in their chips in for Vitamin Waters and candy and kept the bartenders busy mixing mocktails all night.

Noah Lehman ran various skits throughout the night, acting as a drunken patron at one point, and at another engaged in a “deathly” gun-fight over some lost poker chips with two other culprits. The dealers wore red and green visors as they tried to keep the excitable crowd satisfied.

A big shoutout to the junior grades, who were dressed in their finest and looked their fittest, and a huge thank-you to all the grads who helped make the event awesome.
