A Big Thank You!

Imagine have a glass of wine with a shark, chatting with your friends while stingrays float by...and you are not on vacation!

This was the experience for some of our very special volunteers recently at a special celebration, honouring their support to LCS.

This year's volunteer celebration was held at Ripley's Aquarium in Toronto. Guests were treated to a cocktail reception, self-led tours through the facility and a photo at the end to commemorate their experience.

Each year, the school acknowledges volunteers who go above and beyond with the Red Door Award. These individuals are recognized by the school and their peers for their contributions. This year, Ian Fung '00, Tim Bell '00, Kerri Jobe and Catherine Pede were celebrated at the event for their tireless commitment to supporting the LCS community.

Thank you to all of our volunteers who have spent more than 2,000 hours this year marketing, baking, selling, recruiting, entertaining little ones, providing creativity, reaching out…it goes on (and that doesn't even include our trustees!). They are one of the key ingredients for what makes LCS special to so many.
