At Lakefield College School, Movember is about more than growing moustaches—it’s a movement that sparks meaningful conversations and promotes holistic wellness across our community. After a month of raising awareness and funds for men’s mental and physical health, students and staff wrapped up the campaign with one of LCS’s most anticipated traditions: the annual Molar Bear Dip.
On Friday, November 28, more than 200 students and staff took the icy plunge into Lake Katchewanooka in a spirited show of support for Movember. Braving the cold with courage and enthusiasm, participants dove in, cheered one another on, and then warmed up together in a sauna generously provided by The Little Building Company, a valued supporter of this event for the third year in a row.
A special shout-out goes to Matthews House, which achieved nearly 100% participation from both students and staff—an outstanding example of school spirit, commitment, and bravery in action.
The Molar Bear Dip was a powerful and memorable way to conclude a month dedicated to awareness, community, and wellness.
