LCS Students Attend Brilliancy and Resiliency 2026 Conference
On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, a group of our students attended the Black Students Conference: Brilliancy and Resiliency 2026 at The University of Toronto. This year’s theme, “Roots: Belonging as Black Canadians, Embracing Culture,” guided a day of learning, creativity, and connection.
Students took part in a variety of workshops, including drumming, dance, music production, culinary exploration, and cultural arts. Each session offered opportunities to engage with different aspects of Black culture and expression.
Throughout the conference, students also connected with peers from other schools, explored their identities, and reflected on the theme of belonging.
LCS thanks the organizers for hosting a meaningful event and is proud of the students for their engagement and representation of the school.
