Parents' Week provides an excellent opportunity for you to learn more about LCS programs, meet other parents, ask questions about your student's learning, and hear updates from faculty about recent progress. Connect with us for in-person or virtual interviews and more!

You will be able to book virtual and in-person interviews with the individuals you wish to connect with regarding your child’s progress and to R.S.V.P. for special events.

  • Looking Ahead to University Applications with Kirsten Johnston | 4:30 p.m. (In-Person)

    The LCS Guidance team knows how important the university application process is as students prepare for life after high school. This workshop will provide an overview of the university application process, with a focus on Canadian universities.

    This session is open to all parents interested in learning more about the university application process, however, it is best suited to parents of current Grade 11 students.

    Length: 45 mins of content and 15 mins for Q&A. 
  • Parent / Teacher Interviews | 4:30-7:00 p.m. (In-Person)

    Meet with your teen's teachers to discuss their progress.

    Please note: Initially, there will be a limit of 5 appointments per child. This restriction will be lifted for those wanting to book more than five appointments on Monday, October 30 at 10:00 a.m. (EST).

    Our Grade 11 students have dedicated their time and creativity to craft beautiful pottery bowls and prepare delicious homemade soup, all with the aim of giving back to Curve Lake First Nation and Hiawatha Food Banks. We invite you to join us in supporting their incredible efforts. 

    Visit the Learning Commons between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. to purchase handcrafted pottery bowls and flavourful, homemade soup. We are offering these delightful creations for a suggested donation of just $5.00 each.
