Honouring Tradition at the Opening Grad Chapel

This week, the Class of 2026 came together for a tradition that marks the beginning of every Grad year at Lakefield College School: Opening Grad Chapel. Held in the A.W. Mackenzie Chapel, this cherished evening invited our Grads to reflect on their unique place as leaders and mentors within our community.

With moving music and thoughtful reflections from Head of School, Anne-Marie Kee, the service encouraged students to consider the responsibility and opportunity of being role models at LCS. The evening concluded with the candlelight ceremony—a symbolic moment that connects each graduating class across generations, as the torch of leadership is carried forward.

As the Class of 2026 steps into this milestone year, we look forward to the many ways they will shape the spirit of our school and inspire those who follow in their footsteps.
