Last week, our Grade 12 students set off on their Grade 12 Intersession: The Algonquin Expedition, one of the most formative rites of passage at Lakefield College School (LCS). This immersive experience challenged students to develop resilience, problem-solving skills, and collaboration as they canoed and camped through stunning wilderness landscapes.
The expedition offered more than adventure—it provided a space for reflection on how far students have come and the kind of leaders they aspire to be in their final year at LCS. Sharing these challenges and triumphs strengthened the bonds of the graduating class, creating lasting memories and a sense of collective accomplishment.
Through the Algonquin Expedition, Grade 12 Intersession highlighted the power of challenge, teamwork, and reflection, setting the stage for a meaningful final year and the next chapter in the lives of our students.
