Outdoor Education Adventures at Camp Medeba

Our Outdoor Education students visited Camp Medeba for a day of outdoor winter leadership adventures including artificial ice climbing on a 34-foot tall tower, zip lining and the giant swing.

Working through the various activities gave students an opportunity to learn more about themselves and their peers. Each activity site challenged students to try something new and learn different skills. This experience also provides valuable leadership learning by observing different styles of facilitation and how other student groups work together and collaborating as a team to overcome obstacles. Facilitators at Camp Medeba helped students draw meaning from each experience as they learned about leadership, team building and community.
