Bringing Joy to Our Campus Through Art

Ms. Morencie and Ms. Claassen’s Grade 12 Visual Arts students started their year making colourful fall planters to place around the school. Each student designed their own planter based on an autumnal colour scheme and, in keeping with our newest school value, aiming to bring a bit of joy to the LCS campus. This project was inspired by the painted planters around the City of Peterborough, which was a Love for the Boro initiative featuring local artists and organized by the Downtown Business Improvement Area and Dawn Pond.

Many thanks to Griffin's Greenhouse for the beautiful chrysanthemums!
