A Look Behind the Scenes of the Music Industry with Grove Records (ft. Rob Wells)
Before the March Break, students in our Grove Records co-curricular program worked with Canadian producer and songwriter Rob Wells to write, record, and produce original music. Students attended two workshops with Rob; one was to write a song (in less than 24 hours) and the second was to record the song.
We spoke with students to hear about their experiences in these workshops and in Grove Records.

“I think the most enjoyable part of this process is while we’re songwriting, those moments of like YES, we did it. Or that was so cool. Everyone is spouting these random ideas and we all get excited about a cool lyric…I think it’s really cool that we share that aha moment.” - Isabelle ’23
