Empowering Global Citizens through the Lakefield College School Exchange Program

This year, Lakefield College School students embarked on exhilarating exchange trips that spanned three continents, including South Africa, France, Australia, Germany, and Scotland. These transformative experiences offered our students a unique blend of challenges, adventure, and personal growth. We commend our exchange students for their insatiable curiosity, unwavering resilience, and remarkable courage in stepping outside their comfort zones.

The dedication and enthusiasm displayed by our students on these exchange programs have not gone unnoticed. Recently, Mr. Rollwagen (Director of Global Learning) formally recognized our exchange students in Chapel this month.

These exchange trips have undoubtedly broadened their horizons, fostered lifelong friendships, and nurtured their personal and academic growth. As they returned to LCS with a wealth of memories and invaluable lessons, we eagerly anticipate the continued impact they will make within our school community and beyond.

Kudos to Vera ’25, Gray ’25, Lexi ’25, Gabe ’25, Oliver ’25, Ben ’25, Willis ’25, Audrey ’25, Abby ’25, Nicola ’25, and Jane ’25.

Exchange programs remain an integral part of our commitment to providing a holistic education, empowering our students to become global citizens. We look forward to seeing where our students will venture in the 2023/24 academic year.
