Lakefield College School Cross Country Team Races Towards Success

The Lakefield College School Cross Country Team is off to an incredible start this season, showcasing their determination and passion for running as they sprint towards success.

Under the bright autumn sun, on Wednesday, September 27, the team participated in their first race of the year at Earl Bales Park in East York, Toronto. The atmosphere was electric, with athletes donning their running gear and enthusiasm in equal measure.

One of the standout features of the event was the abundance of smiles at the finish line. But, it wasn't all smooth sailing. The races concluded with a gruelling hill climb, which added an extra challenge to the competition. Notably, the senior members of the team had to conquer this demanding hill not once, but twice, showcasing their resilience and determination.

What truly sets this team apart is the remarkable camaraderie and support that flows through their ranks. It's not just about individual achievement; it's about lifting each other up and celebrating as a team.

Stay tuned for more exciting updates as these dedicated athletes continue to race towards their goals, fueled by passion and determination.
