Exploring Post-Secondary Pathways: October Fairs Open New Doors for LCS Students
Throughout October, Lakefield College School continued its Fall Post-Secondary Fair series, welcoming representatives from a wide range of Canadian and international institutions. These events provided students with valuable opportunities to explore programs, ask questions, and begin charting their post-secondary journeys.
On October 16, representatives from St. Francis Xavier University (StFX), EHL Hospitality Business School, Centennial College, Cambrian College, the University of British Columbia, Trent University, Mount Allison University, Saint Mary’s University, Dalhousie University, King’s University College at Western University, Ontario Tech University, Brock University, Fordham University, and St. George’s University joined us on campus. The event offered students a broad perspective on academic pathways—from world-class research universities and small liberal arts colleges to specialized institutions in hospitality and medicine.
This Thursday, October 23, LCS hosted representatives from Minerva University, Carleton University, Georgian College, the University of Winnipeg, and the University of Alberta, further enriching the array of options available to students exploring life after LCS.
These fairs play an essential role in helping students discover the diverse range of opportunities open to them across Canada and around the world. With one more fair remaining this season on November 20, our students continue to build confidence, connections, and excitement for the next steps in their educational journeys.
