October Athlete of the Month: Suri ’28

Each month, Lakefield College School recognizes a student who has made an exceptional contribution to our Athletics community, someone whose diligence, dedication, and passion for their sport inspires teammates and coaches alike.
 
This month, we are proud to highlight five outstanding nominees:
  • Hadley ’27 – Celebrated for her composure and leadership on the Boys and Girls Flag Football team, guiding her teammates with confidence and poise.
  • Fiona ’28 – Recognized for her energy and engagement on the 1st Girls’ Basketball team, bringing enthusiasm and determination to every game and practice.
  • Myers ’26 – Honored for his strong defense and relentless determination on the 1st Boys’ Volleyball team, consistently setting a high standard for his peers.
  • Feras ’27 – A key player on the 1st Boys’ Soccer team, whose contributions helped LCS earn bronze in their division, demonstrating skill, commitment, and teamwork.
  • Suri ’28 – Known for her exceptional field hockey skills, highlighted by scoring the game-winning goal in Wednesday’s crucial match for the 1st Girls’ Field Hockey team.
After careful consideration, the Athlete of the Month award goes to… Suri! Her remarkable skill, focus, and leadership on the field exemplify the spirit of LCS Athletics and serve as an inspiration to her teammates and coaches alike.
 
Congratulations, Suri, and thank you to all nominees for showcasing the heart, resilience, and passion that define our athletic community.

Lakefield College School is a private, coeducational boarding and day school for students in grades 9 through 12, located in Lakefield, Ontario, Canada.
