Boys T-2 Hockey
The first hockey team travelled to the prestigious
UCC tournament last weekend. Facing a tough draw in the Ernst division, the team posted an undefeated record in round robin play, defeating Nichols School, hosts UCC, and a team from the United States of American, the New Jersey Kings. Goaltenders Oliver Porte and Brent Craswell were outstanding in the nets, keeping the team's goals against average below 3. The grumpy old men line of Greg Hough, Graham Goulet, and Michael Procyk were strong in a their checking and energy role. The team also had the opportunity to visit the
Hockey Hall of Fame while they were in Toronto.
Sunday morning saw the team face off against a very skilled team from Ashbury College. Unfortunately, the boys came up one goal short, losing to the team from Ottawa 4-3. So, the team finished in 3rd place out of 8 teams.
