Gangsters and Flappers

By Kerrie Hansler

Last Wednesday Ms. Hansler and Ms. Milne's Grade 10 History classes were transported back to the 1920's to a time of dancing, music and parties.

Each student became either a Flapper or a Gangster for the party, practised their 1920's slang and learned how to dance the Charleston.

This culminating activity brought together the learning of the unit in a hands on, experiential way.
