The J. Paige Wadsworth for Most Valuable Player: Pilar Martin-Pena Rojo
The Alan Wilcox Award for Basketball: Amanda Huang
This year marks a new award, the Alan Wilcox Award for Basketball in honour of coach and mentor Alan Wilcox. This award will be handed out to a female (fall) and male (winter) basketball player from any team. The inscription reads, The Alan Wilcox Award for Basketball is awarded to the player who best represents what Alan thought were the most important values of LCS Basketball - an athlete’s contribution, character and commitment to the team. This award is to go to the athlete who may not play the most minutes or score the most points, but whom has transformed both the team and themselves in a positive way through their hard work, loyalty and discipline.”
