Outstanding Biology Competition Results

For the past 23 years, the University of Toronto has been hosting the National Biology Competition. This 50-question test is meant to be written after a student has substantially completed their senior biology course in high school. This year there were 3,433 Canadian students and 1,376 international contestants. LCS had 33 Grade 11 and 12 students write this competition held at the end of April.
Congratulations to Benjamin Dunk '18 who had a percentile score of 99 and ranked 25th in the National Biology Competition. Ben also receives a certificate from U of T entitled “National Biology Scholar with Distinction” along with a modest cash prize for placing in the top 1% of all contestants.
