Celebrating Our One-Year Students

This week, we gathered in heartfelt celebration of a special group of students who joined Lakefield College School for a single, unforgettable year. On Monday evening, Ms. Kee hosted a warm and thoughtful dinner in their honour—bringing together our one-year students to reflect on their time at LCS, share memories, and express gratitude to the people who made a meaningful impact along the way.

Over dinner and cupcakes, each student took a moment to speak about their experience, highlighting moments of growth, joy, and connection. As the evening closed, students were gifted Grove flags—keepsakes to be signed by friends and mentors, reminders of the bonds formed and the memories made. In true LCS spirit, the night ended with a heartfelt Hug Line, sending them off with love, laughter, and a sense of belonging that will stay with them long after they’ve left campus.

We are so proud of these students and grateful for the joy, curiosity, and perspective they brought to our community this year.
