What Lakefield College School Students are Reading This Summer | LCS Reads Summer 2025
What began four summers ago as a way to keep students connected to learning has become a much-anticipated tradition: LCS Reads Student Edition is back for 2025!
At Lakefield College School, we believe reading does more than build vocabulary—it shapes thinkers, explorers, and changemakers. It fuels the “6 C’s” of the Future-Ready Learner: creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, citizenship, character, and communication. Through books, our students discover new perspectives, build empathy, and reflect deeply on their own experiences and identities.
This summer, we're once again inviting students to step into stories that will challenge and inspire them—books that offer both escape and insight. Whether it's a gripping adventure, a personal memoir, or a thought-provoking novel, each title has been chosen to spark reflection and meaningful conversations when our students return in the fall.
The goal? To ignite a love of reading—not just for school, but for life.
