Athletics Action

1st Boys’ Soccer
On Wednesday, November 2, the 1st Boys’ Soccer team battled Country Day School in quarterfinal action. Cheered on by a great home crowd, LCS played their best game of the season. Lakefield's defence put on a fine display to shut down a strong CDS attack, while the midfield controlled the ball well to dictate the game. The LCS forwards were relentless in their attack, using their pace to wear down the CDS defence. The Grove came out on top with a final score of 10-2. Goal scorers were Eli Shannon (4), Gabe Lalancette (3), André Vilcini (2), and Benny Lueders. LCS will travel to Villanova on Friday for the Final Four Tournament.
