Collaborative Problem Solving at the Engineering Week Challenge

Four teams of four students (2 teams of Grade 11s and 2 teams of Grade 12s) competed in the 2020 Engineering Week Challenge in Peterborough on Wednesday, March 4. Congratulations to Eric Xia '20, Eric Zang '20, Matt Zhang '20 and Wulfric Harris-Stoertz '20 who finished first!

This event brought together 110 students from seven different high schools and teams compete in a set challenge. This year, students had to build a remote objector manipulator that could pick up different types of objects and transfer them to a scoring area. This is an invaluable opportunity for our students to work together on a team and creatively solve a problem while gaining experience in seeing how other teams collaborate.
