Mr. Melville's Advanced Placement (AP) Chemistry class has been preparing for the online AP exam in May. He decided to bring a creative element to remote learning by building a light board to teach classes. The light board is constructed used a piece of plexiglass with a strip of LED lights underneath it. When lit, writing on the board with a neon marker produces a striking glow effect.
This tool means that students get an experience similar to our teachers sharing content on a whiteboard, but they can also see their teacher's face. Bringing new and innovative teaching methods to remote learning helps students stay motivated and engaged in their learning.
