Athlete of the Month: October 2020
The Athletics Department awards the Grove Athlete of the Month to one boy and one girl at the end of every month, who demonstrate good sportsmanship and excel in their given co-curricular.
The first award was presented to Owen Leung '21 for his participation in tennis. Owen has a desire to play and his positive attitude is astounding and motivating to others. His improvement to the game is incredible and he always cleans up the balls, and has great sportsmanship.
The second award was presented to Anna Zimmermann '21 for her participation in field hockey. Anna always has a smile on her face, works hard, is supportive, encouraging, and also a team player. She is super positive, always exciting to play, motivates the team, and is super skilled and full of energy.
