LCS Students Ignite Leadership Potential at SPARK Conference

A group of eight LCS students embarked on a transformative journey of leadership at the sold-out SPARK Leadership Conference, held on May 24, 2023, at Canada's Wonderland. The conference not only provided an enriching platform for personal growth but also promised an exhilarating day of fun and learning. Accompanied by faculty/staff members Tobey Gullick-Scott and Carrie Gilfillan, our students delved into an inspiring program featuring three remarkable speakers: Scott Hammell, Maryanne Oketch, and Nadia Ladak.

The attending students, Logan ’24, Shanen ’25, Ari ’25, Nicola ’25, Jack ’24, Griffin ’24, Clancy ’24, and Riley ’23, exhibited their commitment to leadership development and embraced the opportunity to enhance their skills. The conference empowered them with valuable insights, strategies, and experiences that will undoubtedly shape their leadership journeys.

The SPARK Leadership Conference offered a remarkable platform for LCS students to connect with like-minded individuals, ignite their potential, and gain invaluable leadership insights. As our students returned to campus this week, they undoubtedly brought with them the knowledge and inspiration they gained from the conference. We look forward to seeing how their new outlook will contribute to the continued growth and development of their leadership.
