Ondaatje Challenge 2023: 2km Paddle

LCS students showcased their strength, determination, and teamwork again in the third leg of the Ondaatje Challenge. This exciting event brought together students from various grades as they embarked on a challenging two-kilometre paddle race across the lake. Our athletes demonstrated resilience and commitment to pushing their limits with each stroke. 

The time standards for the Ondaatje Medal require students to finish each event within 10 percent of the average winning time from the last 10 years. 
 
This year, the standards were:
  • 2km Solo Paddle Male 20:28
  • 2km Solo Paddle Female 23:36
