The second Grove Society Alumni Dinner was held on Wednesday, November 7th in Toronto. It was a great evening at Archeo in the Distillery District, where the alumni community celebrated and welcomed Ken Sunderland and David Walsh in as honorary alumni, presenting each with an alumni tie and a certificate.
Combined, Ken and David have spent more than 50 years at The Grove, so it was a special evening to honour this dedication. Zoe Edwards ’08 and Rachel Johnston ’08 told stories about their time with David Walsh as their teacher and advisor, while AJ Johnston ’95 shared his experiences with Ken Sunderland that included taking over Rashleigh House when Ken retired from being a Head of House.
It was great to see so many alumni from throughout the years come out to support the alumni community and Ken and David.
A special thank you is needed to the Grove Society: Alumni Chapter’s Event Committee for putting on such a great evening.
