Giving Back for the Holidays

By Chantale Killey

The LCS community service team organized a food drive at our school, collecting food items for the Lakefield Food Bank. We brought in more than 350 items of food which were then loaded into a van and delivered directly to the Food Bank.  The Food Bank is run by the St. John the Baptist Anglican Church. After delivering the items, our students felt good, reflecting on how nice it was to meet a group of community members giving of their own time to help the food bank operate.

Thanks to all of the students and staff who contributed to this initiative.  Your generosity will be felt and received with gratitude!
