LCS Spring Playoffs Wrap-Up: Champions on Every Field!

As the spring season wraps up, LCS athletes have once again made their mark across the CISAA and OFSAA landscape! From championship titles and OFSAA qualifications to personal bests and standout performances, our teams and athletes brought heart, hustle, and pride to every competition. Congratulations to all!

Ultimate – CISAA Gold on Home Turf!

1st Ultimate – CISAA Champions!
Lefevre Field was electric as 1st Ultimate capped off a phenomenal season with back-to-back dominant wins over Ridley and Toronto French School in the playoffs. A high-powered offense led by Max Peach ’26, Graeme Armstrong ’25, and Elise Devitt ’26 set the tone early, while defensive stalwarts Jesse Briscoe ’25, Louisa Dalglish ’25, and Oliver Holmes ’25 helped seal the deal. The team never looked back en route to CISAA Gold — a huge congratulations on a historic season!
 
2nd and Jr. Ultimate – Final Four Finishes
Both teams battled through strong seasons and made deep playoff runs, coming up just short in their semi-final matches. Incredible effort and great momentum heading into next year!

Tennis – OFSAA Bound & CISAA Silver!

OFSAA Qualifiers:
  • Girls Doubles: Leontine Fritsch ’28  & Pauline Von Dewitz ’26
  • Mixed Doubles: Kate Anstoetz ’25 & Carl Kramer ’25
    These athletes are headed to OFSAA — best of luck at provincials!

    Girls Doubles: Livi Ambler ’25 & Chloe Desjardins ’25

Soccer – A Gritty Battle for the Title

1st Girls Soccer – CISAA Silver Medalists
In a hard-fought Division 1 final against TCS, the girls left it all on the field, falling 2–0 in tough conditions. The team finished their season with just two losses and a well-earned CISAA silver. Special thanks to our graduating players for their leadership and dedication all season long!

Jr. Girls Soccer – Bronze Medal Match Incoming!
Catch them in action Friday, May 23 at 3:30 p.m. on Lefevre Field as they take on TCS for the CISAA bronze medal — come cheer them on!

Rugby – Heart and Hustle

1st Boys Rugby
The team wrapped up their season on the road with a win and a loss, finishing 6th in the league. A season marked by grit and growth — well done, boys!

Girls Rugby
Two fierce matchups showcased the team’s resilience and spirit. Shoutouts to Jayda ’27 for scoring her first try and Miley ’27 for her relentless tackling — a fantastic season all around!
 

Golf – A Podium Finish!

Congratulations to Adriana ’27 on her 3rd place finish in the senior girls division at CISAA. Incredible composure and skill on the course — great work!
 

Badminton – Silver Success!

Congratulations to Somers ’26 and Melody ’26 for clinching CISAA silver in the girls singles division. A fantastic achievement and well-deserved recognition for their efforts!


As the spring season comes to a close, we are so proud of all our LCS athletes, coaches, and supporters. From CISAA championships and OFSAA qualifiers to personal milestones and unforgettable team moments, you’ve represented Lakefield with passion and pride.
