Artist of the Month - Micaiah Ejim ’25

Each month, Lakefield College School recognizes students who go above and beyond in the arts—bringing creativity, passion, and leadership to our community.

This month’s nominees represent a vibrant cross-section of talent and dedication:
  • Indigo Chesser ’29 – for her enthusiasm for the arts and inspiring performance in She Kills Monsters.

  • Hannah  El-Baradie ’25 – for her outstanding lead role in this year’s Spring Play.

  • Stella McAloon ’25 – for her contributions to the “Seb Jones Poetry Slam” and In a Grove.

  • Daisy Zhong ’25 – for her commitment to LCS’s musical ensembles and behind-the-scenes support in the play.

  • Micaiah Ejim ’25 – for her performance in She Kills Monsters and her instrumental role in launching Studio Grove.

  • Maia Brocklehurst ’25 – for her dedication to dance and her leadership in launching Studio Grove.


Each of these students has made a meaningful impact in our arts community, and we’re proud to celebrate their contributions.

And now, we’re excited to announce our May Artist of the Month...Micaiah Ejim!

From her performance in She Kills Monsters to her instrumental role in launching Studio Grove, Micaiah has been a dynamic and inspiring force in the arts this term. Her creativity, initiative, and leadership have left a lasting mark.

Lakefield College School is a private, coeducational boarding and day school for students in grades 9 through 12, located in Lakefield, Ontario, Canada.
