Experiencing a Canadian School

By Tom Milburn

A group of 20 elementary and secondary school teachers from Panama visited Lakefield College School this week to learn more about Canadian independent school education.

The teachers visited classes, toured the school block and residences and enjoyed lunch in the dining hall. They also met with several of our Spanish-speaking students, and students enrolled in Spanish classes, to hear the student viewpoint. The teachers, who are on a training program at Fleming College in Peterborough, were grateful for the warm welcome they received!
