On Wednesday, April 13, the Grade 10 Spanish class made churros y chocolate caliente for class.
A churro is a popular Spanish and Mexican fried pastry coated in cinnamon and sugar. Churros are often consumed with a thick hot chocolate or dulce de leche, so we had both!
Our Spanish class is currently learning the vocabulary to talk about food and drinks, and today, it was so much fun to be able to put these words into action! I was extremely impressed with how well they turned out, they looked they were made right on the streets of Spain.
