84 years of history at The Grove were celebrated at the annual Alumni Dinner. That is the number of years, combined, of the school’s latest inductees as Honorary Alumni.
Paul Mason (32 years), Richard Life (29 years) and Jane Zupo (23 years) were the honourees at the annual Grove Society Alumni Chapter event, which took place on Thursday, May 5 at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Toronto.
The Roof Salon venue offered an impressive view overlooking Toronto, but it paled in comparison to the impressive passion shown by these three Honorary Alumni during their tenure. Each were celebrated by LCS alumni: Jessara Vouk ’05 shared her fond memories of Jane’s unending support to her while she was a student at the school; Zoe Edwards ’09 shared the inspiration that she received as a student of Paul Mason; and Jen Horrigan ’99 celebrated the unique spirit, passion and gift for teaching that Richard Life shared with the school in his many roles over the years.
Grove Society Alumni Chapter President, Andrew Parke ’03, proudly presented Paul, Richard and Jane with a framed certificate and Alumni Tie – officially ‘graduating’ them to becoming alumni of the school. They join a prestigious list of previous honourees:
