Pushing Limits: A Day of Adventure at Camp Medeba with Grade 11 Outdoor Education Students

On February 24, our Grade 11 Outdoor Education (OE) students travelled to Guilford, Ontario for a day of invigorating outdoor adventure at Camp Medeba. This trip was about much more than just having fun; it was an opportunity for our students to develop a wide range of invaluable skills that will undoubtedly serve them well in all aspects of their lives.

Through an exciting series of team-building activities, students sharpened their leadership and communication skills. The ziplining, "leaps of faith," and high ropes course all provided opportunities to take calculated risks and push themselves beyond what they thought was possible. These challenges are not only thrilling, but also require strategic thinking, problem-solving, and a healthy dose of courage.

Overall, their day at Camp Medeba was an unforgettable experience; they not only had a great time connecting with each other but also gained valuable skills and improved their confidence in their ability to accomplish physically and mentally challenging feats.
