This week, students across all grade levels and faculty and staff had the opportunity to participate in a celebration of cultures and cuisines. The Aramark staff prepared traditional recipes from around the world for mealtimes, allowing students to learn, enjoy, and appreciate the diverse array of cultures represented in our community.
The menu featured a variety of dishes from different parts of the world, including tacos from Mexico, schnitzel from Austria, and poutine from Canada. To make the experience even more engaging, students and their families submitted recipes to be used throughout the week.
In addition to sampling the delicious food, students also had the chance to learn more about the cultures behind the recipes. They designed posters to identify the meals and provide some cultural context. This helped to deepen their understanding and appreciation of the diverse backgrounds represented in our school community.
We hope that this event will encourage our students to continue to explore and appreciate the beauty of our global community.
