Career Day at Lakefield College School

This week, LCS hosted its highly anticipated Career Day, welcoming a diverse lineup of 23 guest speakers from various professional backgrounds. From finance to art, technology to marketing, and even politics, our students were treated to a rich tapestry of career insights and advice.

One highlight of the day was our esteemed keynote speaker, Marc Parent P ’15 ’18 ’20, President and CEO of CAE (watch his full address). Marc shared invaluable wisdom on building a career fueled by passion and embracing the non-linear journey that often leads to success. His message resonated deeply with our students, who engaged eagerly with questions about navigating the complexities of the professional world.

The enthusiasm and engagement of our students throughout the day was a testament to their passion and curiosity. They embraced the opportunity to learn from industry experts, gaining valuable insights into potential career paths and the skills needed to thrive in today's workforce.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to all our guest speakers for generously sharing their time, expertise, and wisdom with our students. Your contributions made Career Day a success and have empowered our students to approach their futures with confidence and determination.
