LCS Staff Join a National Conversation about Gender-Inclusive Boarding Schools

This week, LCS residential staff and members of our Leadership Team joined a CBC National Conversation about gender inclusion and gender-inclusive boarding schools. Congratulations to LCS Associate Faculty member, Shannon Doll for co-designing this 1-hour session with Kristina Udegbunam from Appleby College.

We know that fostering an equitable and inclusive community requires dedication and continual focus. The knowledge gained from attending this session will help us with the work of our Gender Inclusive Task Force.

Thank you to guest speaker, Ben Skinner (from The Get Real Movement), Kristina, and Shannon for leading a conversation that explored the historical contexts and intersections of gender and race identity along with practical strategies to integrate gender inclusivity in a school setting.
