Millie ’24 Receives a Nomination from the Canadian Folk Music Awards

Congratulations to Millie ’24 on being nominated for the Young Performer of the Year award at the Canadian Folk Music Awards. Millie released a debut album in 2021. Its title, “Thirteen,” is a nod to the young age at which she recorded the songs (during the COVID-19 pandemic no less).

Millie attended the awards ceremony in Charlottetown, PEI on April 2, 2022.

"I met lots of famous folk musicians and played a lot of music!" said Millie.

Congratulations, Millie on this impressive nomination!
