Student Entrepreneurship at LCS | Grade 11 Students Launch Pop-up Shops

Experiential learning takes student impact to the next level. This week, Ms. Claassen's Grade 11 Accounting class put their knowledge about business operations to the test as they launched a series of pop-up shops, selling ice cream, potato chips, and soda to their peers.

This exercise allowed the class to consider business planning and operations from end to end, giving them new insights into the world of retail and helping them understand the financial side of running a business.

Plus, fun treats were available week-long, giving students and staff access to some tasty treats not typically available on campus!
