Our Grade 11 and 12 students have had an eventful year filled with exciting mathematics competitions, where they have demonstrated their exceptional abilities and achieved remarkable success. From challenging local tournaments to prestigious national and international competitions, our students have consistently showcased their passion for mathematics and their commitment to excellence. Their dedication and hard work have yielded impressive results, with many of them securing top rankings and earning accolades for their outstanding performances. American Mathematics Contest 12 (AMC 12)

American Mathematics Contest 12 (AMC 12)—A multiple-choice contest for students in grades 11 and 12 that occurs in November; organized by the Mathematical Association of America.

Top Result at LCS—For earning the top score at LCS.

Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest

A long answer contest that is written in November, organized by the University of Waterloo. Responses are assessed not just for a correct final answer, but for the form, style, and clarity of the entire solution. The maximum possible score is 60.

School Champion and Medal Winner—For earning the top score at LCS at an achievement level higher than a threshold determined by the University of Waterloo.

Lakefield College School is a private, coeducational boarding and day school for students in grades 9 through 12, located in Lakefield, Ontario, Canada.
