Career Day

Career Day is an annual tradition at The Grove providing students with an opportunity to make a connection between their academic interests and future professional endeavors. In addition to this learning opportunity, Career Day gives students, alumni, parents and friends the occasion to develop meaningful connections for the future.

Nicole Cameron

Civil Engineering

I moved from Kearney to North York when I was 19 to attend Seneca's competitive aviation program in 2001. I switched into the Civil Engineering program when my studies in aviation didn't take flight, and life has been full of great work and life experiences ever since. My work experiences are diverse and include conducting geotechnical studies and overseeing environmental remediation in 5m deep shale in downtown Toronto, to designing MTO highways and wind farm access roads in Northern Ontario. I live with my husband and sons Noah (13) and Alex (10) in Lakefield and love growing food and flowers, going on camping and canoe trips, and attending music festivals!
