Career Day

Career Day is an annual tradition at The Grove providing students with an opportunity to make a connection between their academic interests and future professional endeavors. In addition to this learning opportunity, Career Day gives students, alumni, parents and friends the occasion to develop meaningful connections for the future.

Patrick Marshall '90

Climate / Clean Energy Tech

Patrick is cofounder of Jouleia, a climate-tech start-up focused on accelerating the transition to low carbon homes. Prior to joining Jouleia, Patrick worked with VRG Capital in strategy, product, brand management, and finance roles in start-ups and public companies operating in pharma, transportation & logistics, software, talent management, and financial services. He currently serves as director of a supplements company and a clinical-stage biotech focused on inflammatory and immune-related diseases.

Patrick is passionate about building community through engagement and storytelling, bringing people together for greater impact. He’s active in philanthropic and non-profit governance in education, newcomer settlement, and youth civic engagement. He is co-founder of Together Project, connecting refugee newcomers with groups of volunteers for social connection and settlement support, co-founder of Festival699, an annual community film event, and co-founder of 
Flex Community 24-Hour Relay, an annual community fundraising event.
