Documentaries | Movie Month at LCS

Ms. Kee’s March Movie Month is in full swing and students are enjoying spending time with their house families, connecting with friends digitally, and for day students, watching movies at home. So far, the weekly themes have included “This Movie Changed Me”, “Movies That Made Me Laugh”, and this week, students will watch a documentary of their choosing.

“I encourage you to choose a documentary. Even thinking about which documentary to watch gives you insight into who you are and what you care about. That search for individual meaning in addition to connecting with friends is what life is all about. Care, connect, and contribute.” - Ms. Kee

Our students have elected to watch the following documentaries by house group:

Matthews House – The Last Dance
Memorial House – Framing Britney Spears
Upper Colebrook House – Free Solo
Ryder House –  Blackfish
Ondaatje House – Inside Bill's Brain: Decoding Bill Gates
Lower Colebrook House – The Mind Explained
Wadsworth House – The Social Dilemma
Rashleigh House – The Vietnam War
Grove House – The Art of Flight
Uplands House – Operation Varsity Blues: The College Admissions Scandal
Moodie House – David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet
Cooper House – 13th
