The PAGE Club Addresses Women’s History Month

The Passionate Advocates of Gender Equity (PAGE) club honoured Women’s History Month this week by learning about and discussing the current women’s rights issues in Afghanistan. Earlier this week, they placed a timeline of Afghan women’s rights outside the School Store and the Theatre lobby for their peers to use as a resource. The PAGE club also provided sticky notes for their peers to write down questions and post to the board.

“This is a great opportunity to educate yourself and ask any questions you might have [about current events and issues].” - Shenda ’22

In upcoming meetings, the PAGE club will address all of the questions in a caring and respectful conversation.
