Highlights from Competitive Athletics | Winter 2022

While the start of the Winter term competitive athletics season had a slow start (due to remote learning requirements from the provincial government), the last two weeks have been a whirlwind of activity!

Our Athletics staff are very proud of the time, effort, and dedication students have poured into their co-curriculars, pushing themselves during practice sessions and honing their skills for competition.

Some highlights from the season include:

  • 1st Boys Basketball hosted their first tri-tournament of the year at LCS
  • 1st Girls Volleyball attended a tri-tournament at St. Clements School

It has been a robust season of athletic competitions and we’re looking forward to the last two events of the season — our Jr. Girls Volleyball team is headed to Greenwood College School to compete in the CISAA Volleyball Championships and LCS is set to host the LCS Cup and the Ontario Cup for Nordic Skiing this weekend.

We’re excited to see what the spring co-curricular term has in store for our students!
