Lakefield College School Hosts Ontario Cup 2022

On March 5 and 6, 2022, Lakefield College School hosted the Ontario Cup, welcoming skiers of all ages (from 8 to 80 years of age) to our campus to compete. The weekend was a huge success and we were pleased to hear positive feedback from participants about the event and the incredible volunteers who made it possible.

Following the cancellation of OFSAA Nordic (OFSAA cancelled all winter championships), we were thrilled to have the opportunity to host an alternative skiing event that would include skiers with varying skill levels and ages from across the province.

Thank you to our collaborator, Kawartha Nordic, for partnering with us to host this event. Thank you also to the volunteers and staff who helped make the Ontario Cup a great success.

We look forward to future opportunities to welcome skiers back to the LCS campus.
