Athletics Action | Spring Season Sports are Almost Over!

This is the last full week of competitive athletics for the spring season (and for the 2021/22 school year)! Our student-athletes are leaving nothing behind on the field and are achieving amazing results.

Junior Girls’ Soccer
Congratulations to our Junior Girls’ Soccer team who won against Toronto French School in the finals! It was a great home game with lots of LCS support. Kudos to Alex ’25 and Tessa ’24 who achieved hat tricks and to Maude ’24 who had an incredible shut-out game!

1st Girls’ Soccer
Our 1st Girls' Soccer team finished first in CISAA DII and will be hosting the championships tomorrow, Saturday, May 26, 2022. We will face Crestwood Preparatory College at 10:30 am for the finals. The team has been working hard to prepare for the match and is looking forward to some pre-game fun and a team dinner at Coach Runza's house on Friday. Good luck girls!

1st Girls’ Rugby
Our 1st Girls’ Rugby team was crowned the 2022 CISAA Champions! Congratulations, team! Tries were scored by Grace ’22, Chloe ’22, Sarah ’22, Kate ’22, and Jina ’22. The championship was a great all-around team effort. Our students had to persevere for this win, playing through injuries, and giving their best effort to the game.
