Christmas at LCS

By Rev. John Runza

On Tuesday evening, we celebrated the holidays early with our annual Christmas Dinner and Chapel Service.

After a delicious dinner, we all enjoyed special performances by the Lorelei Consort (Candlelight Carol by John Rutter) and Mary Elizabeth Konrad ’08 (Who Comes this Night, composed by Stevens and Grusin) who arranged her own version of Who Comes this Night on the banjo, especially for this service. Mr. Robertson shared a thoughtful and powerful message, and a moment of silence and prayer were held for the victims of the Peshawar shooting. We closed with prayers for our students and their families, wishing everyone safe travels and a blessed season and New Year.
